high-schoolers blog

Without messing up with anything else. I am just going ahead with my reasons that will surely say it all. High-Schoolers should Blog but don’t know why. let me tell you in fact I am here trying my best to convince you to blog. I am unable to provide you with 100 points but the few I am mentioning here are worth noting down and will work for the time being.

I might not be wrong if I will say that students can blog better not because I believe that learning is a life long process and everyone is a student but here I specifically target the high schoolers (the one in college).

Here are my reasons that encouraged my parents to support me for Blogging since I was in 6th grade.

Motivation for Writing – all students are happy to write and complete aspects of the post topic. A great improvement can be found on proofreading and validation skills. This effective habit leads to deeper thinking, broaden the horizons.

Thirst for Reading –  students will happily spend a lot of time browsing through fellow bloggers article and their global counterparts. Many have linked their friends onto their blogroll and interact with each other through commenting, linking back and sharing.

Discover Yourself – Students can share their strengths and upload areas of interest or units of work e.g.  photography &  creative writing. A way to find talents that were otherwise unknown. Improved confidence levels.

Determination to Create Something – My experience is that students want their blogs to look good in both terms of presentation and content so they try hard over it and doesn’t simply leave it. They try harder and harder until they are not satisfied. This shows their passion for doing something and enhances the ability to create something of their own. Their motivation boosts when they got to know that there are people who are loving, liking, reading and sharing their articles.

Global Awareness – Improved awareness of possible dangers that may confront them in the real world. Prepare students for digital citizenship as they learn cyber safety and netiquette.

Enhance ability to Share - Being a blogger, one of the lessons I have ever learned is sharing is caring, in fact it is that lesson of my life which i have learned after experimenting a lot and implementing for success. It also enhance mutual learning through forum discussions.

Eager to Earn - I have always mentioned Blogging has got a great potential to generate revenue so when they get paid for their work and when they start earning, a sense of in-dependency grows which is good for their Life ahead and they eager to seek out professional jobs and earn more hence it develops in them maturity. It reminds them that now they are eligible to live their own live, they are big enough to do something and be proud on it.

Wow so isn’t it all enough.
