Today, with me is one of the finest and famous blogger, Akshay Aggarwal, CEO & Founder of Screamable. A blogger who have gain success within a very short time, and prove himself prolific.

Akshay Aggarwal (Sitting Posture)

My first and tedious question, though your introduction needs no initiative, but as a formality, can you please tell us little about yourself and your blogging passion?

I am Akshay Aggarwal. Final year, B. Tech student started blogging nearly 1 year ago, as a writer for my friend. After few months, started my blog and as time past it became my passion, to interact with my readers and with fellow bloggers. Initially, when I started as a writer, I was paid $1-2 per post.

Right now, I am blogging at my blog, Screamable. With expertise group of four, of proficient writers, working for me on various blogs and niche sites.

Sounds Interesting… Your current project, is name as ‘Screamable’, it is intriguing if there is any specific reason or any implicit depth of the name, for opting this name?

When I was about to start my blog. I wanted to do something different, something new or innovative, after a lot of stumbling upon domain names, I was confused.

Until I came across the ‘Mashable‘, I was kind of inspired by it. I was obsessed from the beginning not to opt for a domain name that suggests ‘Tech-related’, unlike majority of the blogs. Then I began more focused on the tagline, and while thoughts were emerging in my mind, I liked this tagline ‘Bloggers Screaming Loud’, very much.

What are the things you are quite passionate about other than blogging?

Well, gaming – PC Games have been always adorable for me. Hacking. Watching movies and cartoon.

Seems like a little kid is still alive in you.

Yes, I just love watching cartoons.

As you are gaining popularity day by day, and one of the recognized blogger. For many of us, how you view increasing plagiarism and its rapid growth, especially in the subcontinent, matters a lot. Would you like to comment on it?

Well! Yes. The main problem that persists is that plagiarism is increasing day by day, or should I say hour by hour. If your post is famous, there are lots of blogs who copy them. For instance, one of my post about Facebook chat was copied by 23 blogs. For reporting DMCA is hectic and costly, if you take down whole site but try with Google DMCA reporting. After all, who wants to lose ranking.

A message for copy cats – copy but you will never rank more than the original.

How are you viewing current situation of IT? Is it satisfactory or certainly below your expectations?

IT is growing at a good rate, each sector needs improvement, but I am happy to see its growth with a pattern of consistency. If you contemplate over the situation in India, it is progressing at a good rate, creating jobs for thousands.

For example, Infosys one of the largest company in India, are alone hiring this year about 30-40k people.

Do you think this blogosphere will last for long, or it is just going to burst like a bubble?

Blogging is surely on the rise, in future blogging would surely be considered as one of the job sector.

On the contrary, many IT tycoons comment it would burst out as technology will progress?

Well, can’t fight over their opinion. If you see people, they won’t stop surfing internet and searching for answers to their queries. It is common to see that even a 5th Grader, uses internet for school assignment.

So I ponder, how blogs can vanish.

Seems you are bit infuriated…

Striking to Progress...

I would like to acknowledge how has your experience been, in this blogging career, do you have any particular inspiration?

To be honest, I was inspired by the money involved.

More like a ‘greedy blogger’…

To be honest, when I became a part of this blogosphere, I only saw money which inspired me and built up my courage. And I set it as my goal to acquire it.

Well for your comment, yes you can call me a ‘greedy blogger’. Just contemplate over current situation, it won’t be wrong to comment that every blogger is there to earn money. Isn’t this the case? Else, why do he adds advertisement slots on his/her blog.

This doesn’t seems ethically good… What sort of impression are you giving to your followers, who look forward to you.

I do agree with it. But in my opinion, 99% people engage into blogging for money, and only 10% will actually continue it for long as blogging provides long-term benefits, only once you get passionate towards it.

It is obnoxiously known that ‘Alexa‘ is quite inaccurate. Still it is asserted with reverence, what is your reaction on it?

Alexa‘ is really inaccurate, for instance I have seen blogs with visits around 30k ranked as 20k. While, blogs with 150k visits, ranked as 200k.

So far, has it gone beneficial to you or not?

Since my ‘Alexa‘ rank has been a bit good, it surely helps me sometimes in getting sponsors and advertisers.

How much traffic are you receiving? People are always intrigued in knowing that. Why don’t you disclose it and cut this subtlety!

If any one ask me about my traffic, I reveal the stats comfortably. I get around 65+k visitors, with page views around 90k.

That is quite phenomenal… So are you interested in selling Screamable(in jesting mood)….

No, over the time, Screamable has corresponded as a part of my identity.

These days majority of newbies, pay more attention to layout, on the other hand neglecting content. As both of them, are essential underlying foundation, how do you view the scenario?

Newbies usually get easily fascinated by the looks, but ultimately content is the king.

The thing that caught my eyes first at your blog, was the Viper Bar, did it prove you somehow beneficial?

Yeah! Since from the day it is working on my blog, it has definitely helped me in getting more subscribers.

To be honest, I am kind of jealous with your ranking, what is your marketing strategy?

I believe there are some WordPress plugins that are quite essential, and without them a blog is incomplete. These are W3 Total Cache, All In One SEO, and Akismet.

Bloggerine is quite a good blog. Jut work hard on it, and you will make the street paved, where crowd can stand out.

It was quite exciting for me to banter over and interviewing Mr. Akshay Aggarwal. It was my best experience, interviewing someone. I am quite inspired by his, mentality of doing work with zealous and frivolous mood, uncertain of the very next moment, could burst out of laughing.
